Choose the Cracker that Makes a Difference this Holiday Season
Celebrate style, sustainability and social good this Holiday Season by choosing the Zubin Cracker for all your festive celebrations.
The Zubin Cracker was designed by 21 local Hong Kong teenagers from diverse backgrounds and assembled in a Social Enterprise factory providing jobs for Ethnic Minorities here in Hong Kong.
All proceeds go to support the work of The Zubin Foundation, improving the lives of marginalised ethnic minorities in Hong Kong by reducing suffering and providing opportunities.
Style and Sustainability
Designed in classic red and white, and decorated with intricate, hand-drawn sketches representing Hong Kong and Christmas, these crackers are the ideal addition to your table or Christmas tree this holiday season.
Built with sustainability in mind, the teenage Social Entrepreneurs who developed the Zubin Cracker chose to work towards four specific UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Developed by our Teenage Social Entrepreneurs
The Zubin Cracker was developed in the summer of 2021 by a diverse group of 21 Hong Kong teenagers drawn from all walks of life working on the SEA Change Programme.
Together they built the Zubin Cracker Social Enterprise, supported by industry experts in Design Thinking, Product Development, Creative Design, Marketing, Finance, Manufacturing and Sustainable Development.
They learnt first-hand about diversity and inclusion, and about the power of teamwork. They developed self-confidence and gained a newfound respect for and understanding of other people’s traditions and life experiences.
